ABOUT THE ARTIST

  • Victoria Schaal Photographing on the shore of the Krakatau Volcano in Indonesia 2016

I am a Franco-Italian marketing professional in the creative industry and a visual artist.

I was born in Paris, France, yet I grew up mostly in Venice, Italy. Accustomed by my family and driven by my curiosity for the world, I have travelled extensively and lived in various countries across Europe and Asia.

At 16, I moved to the UK where I settled for five years. It was during my business studies at the University of Exeter that I started to practice photography.

Since 2016, I have been living in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where I work as a marketing specialist for one of the largest creative companies in the world and carry out various business projects in the creative industry.

It is here in Malaysia that I further explored my artistic interests, going beyond photography and indulging into digital art, oil and acylic painting oils and acrylics.

In April 2018, I  designed the cover of the book ‘Cosa fanno le mie piante quando non ci sono’ by Francesca Schaal Zucchiatti and currently function as the Italian author’s marketing consultant.
